DEF Module

The DEF module was drawn to detect several types of failures of the elevators, including the one of the security's circuit. The configurations through several Jumpers, make it possible to be installed in any elevator type. The main usefulness of this module is, through the existent Bi-directional Communication of the Emergency Calls System of the Elevator, in case of detection of some existing failure, to sent a warning to the maintenance company to informe that a failure exists in the elevator. This way, the company can intervene and repair the failure even before the customer knows about the occurrence.
